Ben Dunnam's Legacy Tournament
What started with a fishing tournament to support Ben Dunnam in 2018 during his battle with stage IV colon cancer, has now evolved into a network of supporters in South Alabama who rally around locals each year to provide assistance and relief for others who share in this battle.
Each year, this 2 day tournament is held in Mobile, Alabama. Through the support of local sponsors and community members, this tournament provides direct financial support to recipients.
Further, the donations raised during this tournament allow Ben Dunnam Foundation to continue this valuable work for our community year after year.

Ben Dunnam Foundation Recipients
Ben Dunnam Foundation is honored to support a local member of the community each year by raising funds in support of their cancer journey. Financial support for each recipient is made possible through the annual Ben Dunnam Fishing Tournament and year-round generous donations and sponsors.

"We would not be standing today without our community. From family and friends to complete strangers, we’ve been wrapped in love and support. Organizations like Ben Dunnam Foundation stepped in with resources, comfort, and hope.
This is where foundations and generous communities become lifelines for cancer families. They don’t just offer help, they offer hope.
They give us breathing room, allowing us to focus on our child rather than bills and bankruptcy. Without that support, many of us would lose everything we’ve worked so hard to build, not just homes and jobs, but also our mental well-being." -Andi Kate's Mother, Tiffany Mason

"We are deeply humbled and incredibly grateful to the Ben Dunnam’s Legacy Tournament for choosing to sponsor my husband as this year’s recipient.
This season of life has brought so many unexpected challenges, but moments like this remind us we’re not walking this road alone.
The generosity, support, and love we’ve felt from this AMAZING community have truly lifted our spirits.
Thank you for not only honoring Harrison, but for helping ease some of the burdens that come with this journey.
To the family and friends of Ben Dunnam, please know that his legacy is still very much alive!
He was clearly a man whose life left a deep and lasting impact.
Though we never had the chance to know him personally, it’s clear that his spirit continues to touch lives — including ours.
His legacy of strength, love, and generosity lives on in the way this community continues to rally around others in their time of need." -Harrison's Wife, Ariel Holbein
